Welcome to the Niwasa Aboriginal Education Programs website. This site will introduce you to the Niwasa Aboriginal Education Programs and enhance your experience and strengthen your knowledge. Through our Head Start Preschool, Early Learning and Care Centre and Early Years Drop-In Centre, Niwasa offers a holistic approach to programs for Urban Aboriginal children and their families in the Hamilton area. Please read through it carefully and ask any questions that you may have.

Highly Qualified Staff: Our staff include qualified Early Childhood Educators as well as fluent language teachers and Aboriginal artists.

Our Mission: To provide early intervention programs and services for the health and well being of Urban Aboriginal (Status & Non-Status Indian, Métis & Inuit) preschool children in the Hamilton Area. To foster the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth of each child, which will contribute to life long learning and transition to elementary school.
